Think about, it what would happen?

It’s difficult, isn’t it?

Because your life is not about you, it’s about everyone else and how you have to be to please them. It’s about what you need to do to have what it is you want. You have a job that pays the money you need to pay the mortgage and for the food and all those things you want. You spend your time and energy looking after all sorts of people and things; your partner, your kids, the pets, your brothers and sisters and mothers and fathers. Your friends even!

Look at your life and you will see that just about every one and every thing is taking something from you. No wonder you’re tired.

And have you noticed how ‘offended’ everyone gets?

I mean, they always have some objection to something someone else is doing; whether it be the choice of haircut, TV show you watch, the car you drive, what diet you’re on, it doesn’t matter what, they will always find something that they don’t like about someone else so the can be offended by it. So what happens is we do the things that those around us expect of us, to ‘make life easier!’ and in that we become a slave to them. Not that ‘them’ is anyone in particular, you just need to look at society to see ‘them’. We are all doing it with each other, just look around at those people YOU become offend by! We can all be as guilty as each other.

So what do you do?

What Jung was saying here was that the things you know to be true in the early part of your life become a lie in the latter part of your life after what Dr Wayne Dyer says is a shift in your understanding of the way you look at life. After the shift you see the world in a different way, one not of competition and the race, but one of peace. Where the materialist things don’t matter so much anymore, or rather, the accumulation of those things isn’t a competition but a ‘win-win’ because you know you can have anything you want when your thoughts and feelings come from you heart.

So live in the now. If you always enjoy what you are doing in this moment, then your life can only be full of Joy. You only have this moment.

Why not have the best you deserve it

Yes i’m materialistic clothes, cars you name it and i’m proud, and why shouldn’t I be, lets face it I put those things in my life:)

Since you were born you have been learning. Learning from your family, friends, community, society etc and you have formed your beliefs of how the world is. Let’s say this is point A.

Then you have experiences that make you think about being, having or doing something else, something better, which we call desire, point B.

So your journey from A to B can be measured in 2 ways, are you happy or sad. Happy that you are heading towards that thing you want or sad that you are not. Sadness is a form of pain and depending on your situation this can also manifest as physical pain.

But your beliefs hold you in a place where you say ‘life should be this, or that’; you believe what people tell you is so, and some of these maybe very well meaning friends and family, but all they are doing is telling you their view of their world. These are the types of things that separate you from your desires.

So, when you let go of all that around you and your beliefs, or previous programming, you open up a new canvas to create want it is you want. You can be, do or have anything you want, you are only stopped by your own doubts.

Let me explain…

About a week ago, Ben’s xbox 360 whirred,spluttered, and finally gave in to the 3 red flashing lights of death…woe, oh woe….For those of you out there who are not gamers, this is a disaster! The xbox 360 then needs to be packed up and sent back to Microsoft to be fixed, leaving you sans xbox for about 3 weeks…double woe!

I remember thinking at the time about how fab it would be if some friend could be nice enough to lend Ben his xbox for a while, a friend who has one but doesn’t use it much. So I put this out into the universe, as Ben was missing his, as he uses it to relax after working hard.

On Saturday we got a call from our friend Geoff, who completely out of the blue, brings Ben his xbox 360 to use until his is fixed! Hurrah! Now no-one asked Geoff to do this, he did so out of the kindness of his heart, and I for one am extremely grateful, and Ben is over the moon!

So thank you again Geoff! You must come round for tea!
